“ Mum, don’t spoil the planet I will be living for your convenience ! ”

Disposable diapers are the 3rd largest single consumer item in landfills, and represent 30% of non-biodegradable waste.

Billions tons of diapers filled with feces and other body excretions go to landfills where they take about 500 years to decompose.

As a good citizens we must take action to use different form of diapers. We must do what is necessary to save the environment for the future generations to live.

We’re dumping almost 7 billion lbs of diapers onto our landfill each year. That’s the weight of more than 8,000 fully fueled, fully loaded 747s

•Even some manufacturer’s claim that their diaper are 85% biodegradable
•Most are rolled into tight little balls (plastics bag) and put in sealed landfills
•Without air and water, it take about 500 years for the diaper to decompose

Can we compost them?
§Plastic is non compostable
§Malaysia has Zero facilities that could do this composting

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILDREN PLANET

The disposable diaper doesn’t just originate at the store and then end up in the garbage. By examining the cycle, we see that the disposable diaper is harmful at every stage in its life. To the environment when produce, to the baby and back to environments.

Most people who use these disposable diapers are impacted in the smallest ways, with a minor diaper rash being the only clue that diapers are not healthy. The other impacts were mostly invisible to us.

All that harm for what ? A product that is used for a few hours and then unsafely thrown out as a ball of plastic and feces to sit for 500 years. You are responsible for the way your children will live in future.
